New York Mills Community Carnival

Our Mission

The New York Mills Community Carnival is an annual fundraiser that is dedicated to supporting elementary and high school teachers. The proceeds from this event have been used by teachers to enhance student learning and experiences within their classrooms.

What we’ve achieved

  • Provided each classroom with a minimum of $250 per year to use towards supplies, equipment or furniture.

  • Funded guest speakers and events within the elementary that enrich their overall learning experience.

  • Provided Bingo for the elementary on the last day of school.

  • Provided a cool treat at recess on the last day of school.

  • Contributed to the purchase of a new eagle mascot costume.

  • Provided opportunities for art students to display their work as part of the Mini Golf carnival game.

  • Provided opportunities for extra-curricular organizations to earn extra funds by helping at the event.

  • Gifted t-shirts to all kindergarteners each year.
